We found the Web in 1996 and within a few weeks were designing our own sites. By 1998 we were into affiliate marketing and even today we continue to make money in that way.
In 2001 Toni started writing for small webmasters who needed stores, articles, press releases, sales text and anything else that included words. At the same time we continued working in web design but mostly on our own sites.
In 2003 we moved to Hervey Bay in Queensland and by 2004 we began to see local businesses looking for a way to get online. We were appalled at what was being dumped on these small businesses by the local web design businesses so here we are, still pushing on with the text side of things but now offering a higher quality web design service for local businesses.
Since search engine optimisation is becoming so important we’re now offering that service to local businesses as well. Once again the bigger web design businesses are offering a poor quality service at a very high price and they still can’t get the results that we have achieved for our clients who pay much less.
Our next step will be a move into web hosting because, once again, we’re seeing local businesses getting ripped off with poor quality service and we know we can do much better.
